Technology research and application

With the accessibility and deep research in the field of technology for water and wastewater treatment in advanced countries in the world, we have successfully applied a lot of this type of technology for hundreds of projects for water and wastewater treatment in the Vietnam and other countries in the region, some technologies were applied as follows:

  • Processing technology of traditional physical chemistry: Colloid convergence-creating the cotton-gravity Sedimentation

Gravity sedimentation tank at the stage of physical chemistry process

  • Physiochemical treatment technologies: Glue the convergence- Flocculation – Dissolved Floatation

Similar physiochemical treatment technologies above, following the process reacts with chemicals in the glue and stitch to create cotton, instead of being led through the stitches to gravity, compressed air with water at high pressure atmosphere couple, then reduce pressure down to atmospheric pressure, dissolved gases separated from waste water into the gas-dust.   • Upflow anaerobic sludge blanket (UASB)

Microbial populations (mostly bacteria) will decompose the organic matter in anaerobic conditions (absence of oxygen atmosphere) with the end product which is a gas mixture composed of: CH4, CO2, N2, H2 … Wastewater containing organic substances pollution concentrations are likely highly biodegradable and of low solids composition.
The scale applied in Vietnam was: 2.800 m3 / day and 7.000 kg COD / day.

UASB anaerobic treatment tanks of food industry wastewater

  • Technology anoxic biological treatment (Anoxic)

Microorganisms in anoxic tank are likely to eliminate Nitrogen from nitrate metabolism into free Nitrogen. This additional amount of nitrate from the aeration tank (located after an anoxic tank). The sewage after nitrogen reduction will continue to be processed in the aerobic tank combined nitrate chemical.
Waste water contains highly concentrations of Nitrogen pollution.
The scale applied in Vietnam was: 10.000 m3/ day and 1.500 kg N-NO3/day.

Biological treatment process consistently uses many different floras: anaerobic, aerobic, and anoxic to sewage treatment. Micro-organisms in organic oxidation at high speed reduces the strong concentration of organic matter, the process is particularly significant decrease concentrations of nitrogen and Phosphorus in wastewater.
Wastewater organic matter, nutrients are capable of biodegradation.

Badenpho technology of rubber wastewater

  • • Biological treatment technology for advanced portable (MBBR)

In aerobic conditions, bio – materials have a graet exposure to the environment for the microorganisms to stick and survive. Thanks to constant blower bio – materials hover in wastewater. On the surface, there are 03 layers of bio-film: anaerobic layer, anoxic layer, aerobic layer. Thanks to the 03 layers of bio – film, MBBR tank has an effective handling of nitrogen, phosphorus and BOD is much higher than an ordinary biology tank.

  • • Multistage filtration system (MTF)

Layout system is arranged of multi-layer filter materials with different dimensions. The arrangement, stratified layers of filtering materials enable the removal of large-sized dirt the first filter material, the small size dirt is retained in the filter material in greater depth so effective removal as well as yhe turbidity also will be higher.

  • Advanced oxidation systems (AOP)

A brief description of the principle: This system using the agent is a combination of H2O2 and iron salts Fe 2+ as oxidizing agents, transfer difficult biodegradation of potentially biodegradable agents or can mineralization completely organic matter to CO2, water, inorganic ions.
Wastewater organic matter with little or no biodegradation, toxic organic substances.

Clusters of advanced oxidation process in textile wastewater treatment

  • Ultrafiltration Membrane Filtration System (UF)

Ultrafiltration membrane to remove molecules whose size is larger than the hole to filter out of the water. Under the pressure of not more than 2.5 bar, water, mineral salts and molecules/ions under filter holes (0.1-0.005 microns) will cross the membrane with ease. The larger molecules, viruses, bacteria will be hold and exhaust out.
Wastewater treatment contains oil for the purpose of recovery of oil and grease in the wastewater, desalination of sea water, salt water filtration.
The scale applied in Vietnam was: 25 m3/hr.

UF filtration systems to reuse waste water after handling

  • Water treatment technology from surface water

A brief description of the principle: Surface water is pumped to draw water into the flocculation flocculation and sedimentation to remove impurities and suspended in river water. Clean water treatment technology from ground water
