Recently, Koastal Eco Group was honored to be selected by the Investor – Newhope Binh Phuoc Livestock Co.,Ltd as the contractor for the construction of “Dong Phu pig farm wastewater treatment system – Capacity: 48,000 pigs/year”.
The livestock project in Binh Phuoc is implemented on a 20-hectare plot of land with a scale of 48,000 pigs. This is also the first pig farming project of Koastal Eco Group. This project applies anaerobic biological treatment process, completely stirred tank reactor (CSTR), combined with Oxidation Ditch (OD) to thoroughly and effectively treat organic substances, solids and nitrogen with high concentration, which is a typical character of pig farming wastewater.
CSTR is an anaerobic biological treatment technology that has been widely applied in the world but is quite new compared to Vietnam. The application of this technology aims to solve the problems of reducing organic matter and sediment with high efficiency, small area, and high biogas recoverability to make renewable energy, which conventional biogas technology and UASB can not solve. This process has also been applied by Koastal Eco in the wastewater treatment system of CPV Binh Phuoc Poultry Processing Plant, which is in trial operation.
With constant effort and improvement in treatment technology, Koastal Eco Group always brings customers confidence in providing wastewater treatment solutions for industries. Notably, this contract once again assures the position of Koastal Eco Group in the field of livestock and meat processing wastewater treatment in Vietnam within the last 2 years, following the successes of wastewater treatment projects for Binh Phuoc CPV Poultry Processing Plant, and Nghe An Cluster III Dairy Farm (Farm III).
